SMART MAINTENANCE
Helpten Smart Maintenance and Fleet Management is a vehicle telematics solution optimised for the needs of the automotive maintenance and repair businesses. It enables the businesses to improve their customer service, increase the customer loyalty, and improve business efficiency by linking the customer fleet management and maintenance needs to their services and offering the customers other additional valuable services, like driving-logbook, automated expense claims, and GPS-based fleet operations management.
Based either on a mobile app (‘light’-version) or on a telematics device installed in the vehicle, the Helpten applications give the customers a comprehensive view of the vehicle use, costs, maintenance needs, and history. With the optional telematics device, collecting comprehensive data on the trips, driving (locations, speeds, accelerations, breakings), and the vehicle itself (status, error codes) the services can be taken even further and include, for example, remote-assistance, real-need base maintenance, and 3rd party services.

Maintenance & Fleet Management Features
Vehicle and Fleet Dashboard
The vehicle dashboard gives the customer a single view on all their vehicles, the vehicle use, maintenance history, upcoming maintenance needs, predicted timing of upcoming maintenance, active problems/faults, maintenance plans, cost comparison between different brands and vehicles, etc.
Vehicle Details
In the vehicle level the customers can view the detailed history and health of a particular vehicle, e.g. body kilometers/GPS, error codes with history, maintenance history for the vehicle, upcoming events, and detailed costs.
Self-Service Booking
With the Helpten applications customers can book the time for service by themselves: Work to be performed is suggested automatically based on the vehicle history and telematics data, the parts, costs and work estimates determined based on the maintenance business’s databases (i.e. Autodata-like information), and available service times suggested from the preferred location.
Maintenance Reminders
Based on the maintenance needs, either predicted or real (on-board telematics), the solution can send reminders on maintenance events to the customers.
Smart Roadside Assistance
With one-touch the customer can contact the roadside assistance service, the customer GPS location automatically sent to the control center, and the nearest available assistance vehicle sent to assist the customer. If the customer vehicle is equipped with an on-board telematics device, the roadside assistance can also include remote diagnostics of the situation.
Customer Messaging
The Smart Maintenance application can be also used to send messages to the consumers, either product promotions or, for example, to balance the workshop load by sending proactive maintenance invites to the customers whose vehicles are near to the service windows.
Remote Assistance
Real-time access to the vehicle systems enables the maintenance business to recognize and analyse error situations remotely & proactively as well as to advice customers on required actions, e.g. non-critical alerts can be remotely cleared and service booked for later.
Driving Style Analysis
Easily understandable visual feedback on the customer’s driving style calculated based on the number of negative impact -events.
Show My Car On The Map
With the applications the customers can locate their car, either when parked in strange areas or when the vehicle has been stolen.
Mobile and Web-Clients
The Helpten applications are available through both web and mobile-app interfaces. Mobile Apps are available for Android, IOS, and Windows Mobile operating systems.
